Prelasti EPDM Single Ply

Prelasti EPDM Single-Ply is ideal for flat or pitched roofs. Lightweight, and with no hot works required, it is perfect for light load-bearing timber buildings, concrete or metal decks, or overlaying on existing asphalt surfaces. It can be cut and shaped to waterproof any complex structure.

Offsite prefabrication and the application of vulcanising technology in a controlled environment, ensures 100% joint integrity. The Prelasti membrane has proven durability for over 50 years and is the membrane of choice for a cost effective fast track option

Build Off Site

Prelasti EPDM is engineered for offsite prefabrication. Assembled in a controlled environment, Prelasti provides 100% joint integrity and instant waterproofing cover for projects.

There are a number of benefits for building offsite and complements the Building Information Modelling (BIM) techniques.

Vulcanising

Prelasti EPDM employs a specific bonding technology, called vulcanisation. Vulcanisation is a chemical process for converting rubber or related polymers into more durable materials via the addition of “curatives”.  These additives modify the polymer by forming crosslinks (bridges) between polymer chains.

This molecular bonding process gives Prelasti 100% joint integrity – in effect, almost as if there are no joins at all. Thanks to this cutting-edge technology, Prelasti is backed by a 20-year guarantee and has a life expectancy of 50 years – far longer than many comparable waterproofing solutions.

Benefits – Build Off Site

Offsite build for waterproof roofing has many advantages and benefits over creating the structure at the project site. Off-site build such as that used by AAC Waterproofing for Prelasti leads to:

Superseal Fleece Reinforced EDPM

Manufactured in Sweden by SealEco, SuperSeal roofing membrane is a fleece reinforced elastomeric membrane based on the polymer EPDM for exposed installation, either mechanically fixed or adhered to the substrate. SuperSeal is chemically and thermally stable and has exceptionally good weather-ability and longevity.

Sika Sarnafil

Manufactured in Switzerland, Sika Sarnafil is the leading manufacturer of single ply roofing systems. It is a strong single ply membrane is a strong, flexible PVC material, and all permanent joints are fusion welded via a hot air heat welding process. It can be either mechanically fixed, fully adhered, or loose laid ballasted to the roof surface.

Protan PVC Membrane

Manufactured in Norway since 1972, Protan roof coverings are made from self-extinguishing PVC. All joins are performed with hot-air welding machines. This further enhances the roof’s fire-proofing, and is especially important when roofs are renovated.
